The Business Growth Centre is an initiative of the Department of Training and Workforce Development and is hosted by West Coast Institute of Training.

The development of The Business Growth Centre was the result of a recommendation of the State Training Board’s Small Business Advisory Committee. The State Training Board (STB) is Western Australia’s peak advisory body reporting to the Minister of Training and Workforce Development on the training needs for Western Australia.

Comprehensive consultation with government and industry has resulted in The Business Growth Centre providing a collaborative solution to training small business owners in a practical and flexible way to best suit the small business owners needs.

The Business Growth Centre has entered into agreements with stakeholders in the small business sector to improve the outcomes of training for small business.
