Aboriginal Business Mentoring Services

The Aboriginal Business Mentoring program is designed to offer you and your business short, sharp, focused blocks of dedicated time and support from your mentor.

Depending on your specific business needs, we will visit you in the workplace and look at the business process that are running smoothly and those that need improvement.

As the first step, you and your mentor will complete a “Business Health Check”. This fundamental process aims to ‘diagnose’ the overall performance of your business as well as the specific skills which may need building upon.

Your Business Health Check will provide you with an objective assessment of the business including strengths and development needs. It will also give you an understanding of the future stability and growth potential of your industry.

Once your Business Health Check is complete, you and your mentor are now in an informed position to commence the coaching process. This is where your advisor will help you identify key business issues requiring attention, develop strategies and find solutions.

The Business Growth Centre also delivers “Open Space Forums” in metropolitan and regional areas of Western Australia. The Open Space Forums enable participant to self-organise around their own ideas and generate ideas and training opportunities in a casual, open space environment.
